{"id":21117,"date":"2020-01-24T22:05:27","date_gmt":"2020-01-25T05:05:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.skyhinews.com\/?p=62691"},"modified":"2020-01-24T22:05:27","modified_gmt":"2020-01-25T05:05:27","slug":"two-found-dead-at-rocky-mountain-national-park-on-friday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/krky\/local-news\/two-found-dead-at-rocky-mountain-national-park-on-friday\/","title":{"rendered":"Two found dead at Rocky Mountain National Park on Friday"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.skyhinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2018\/07\/Grand-Lake-Colorado-1.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p>Authorities are investigating the deaths of two people whose bodies were found Friday at Rocky Mountain National Park.<\/p>\n<p>The park released a limited amount of information Friday night, saying that park rangers were notified of a suicidal person who was likely in the park and the individual\u2019s vehicle was found near Upper Beaver Meadows Road.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>While searching for the vehicle\u2019s occupants, rangers briefly held up traffic entering the park on the east side for about an hour. During the search, rangers discovered the bodies of vehicle\u2019s owner and another person.<\/p>\n<p>Park rangers conducted an on scene investigation, and the two bodies were taken to the Larimer County Coroner\u2019s Office for examination.<\/p>\n<p>The Larimer County Coroner\u2019s Office will release the names of the deceased after their families have been notified.
