Both lanes reopened around 4:10 p.m. There was no word yet the severity of the injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Based on emergency radio traffic, there have a number of other minor wrecks and slide-offs reported to Grand County dispatchers since snow started falling.<\/p>\n<p>A winter storm warning predicted snowfall ranging from 6-14 inches on areas including Rabbit Ears Pass, Rocky Mountain National Park, Berthoud Pass and Winter Park with high wind gusts making travel extremely difficult.<\/p>\n<p>The snow is expected to continue into Tuesday morning, though the heaviest should subside sometime this evening.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-facebook wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-facebook\"><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyhinews.com\/news\/wrecks-mount-as-snowstorm-makes-travel-hazardous-across-grand-county\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via:: Sky-Hi News<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Weather Service&#8217;s forecast chart calls for heavy snow in Grand County from Monday into Tuesday.Courtesy National Weather Service Today\u2019s snowstorm is making travel across Grand County tricky with reports of slide-offs and car wrecks becoming more and more widespread.
