Hikers will also learn about the properties of snow during this class and how it can help local inhabitants through the season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The four mile, back and out hike leads to Hidden Falls, a frozen waterfall and ice climbing destination not often seen by Rocky Mountain visitors. The course is classified as a moderate hike with an elevation gain of less than 1,000 feet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Organizers say the hike is great for beginners wanting to try snowshoeing for the first time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The hike is free for children 13 and younger and $10 for adults. Snowshoes are included for all participants, but hikers should dress in warm layers with appropriate footwear.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Advance registration is required online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rmconservancy.org\" rel=\"nofollow\">http:\/\/www.rmconservancy.org<\/a>.
