With the help from our paraprofessional Campbell Jones, a Vermont native, our two classes were able to experience what happens to real maple syrup when it is heated and then poured onto snow. The students were able to make maple syrup popsicles and determined that they are delicious. Afterward, the students wrote a detailed cause and effect paragraph describing the process of the maple syrup transition. Overall, our students had an engaging, hands-on learning experience that they won’t soon forget.

• This weekend the Middle Park cheerleading team traveled to Greeley West for a competition and brought back a trophy for second place.
