At Granby Ranch, the resort has received 10 inches since Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis snow was in line with our expectations,\u201d noted Joel Gratz, meteorologist for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.OpenSnow.com\">http:\/\/www.OpenSnow.com<\/a> in his latest forecast.<\/p>\n<p>Gratz predicted that Monday could bring a few more inches of snow in the morning before the storm tapers in the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday through Saturday should be fairly dry with a chance for more snow on Saturday night or Sunday with snow possibly continuing for many days the following week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlso, I took a peek ahead at the long-range forecast into early March and most models show a good chance for storms to continue to track near or over Colorado,\u201d Gratz said. \u201cThis is all very good news!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyhinews.com\/news\/winter-park-resort-receives-a-foot-of-new-snow-with-more-on-the-way-next-week\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via:: Sky-Hi News<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Skiers and riders enjoy fresh powder at Granby Ranch on Friday, Feb. 7.Eli Pace \/ epace@skyhinews.com Winter Park Resort is sitting on 83 inches of snow at its base after another snowstorm pummeled the mountain this weekend, and forecasters say there\u2019s more on the way.
