This year\u2019s theme is \u201cImagine Your Story.\u201d As with previous years, children will receive prizes for meeting and logging weekly reading goals and will receive a larger prize for completing their entire log.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Though the county\u2019s library\u2019s are still closed, appointments can be scheduled to pick up reading logs and check out books, including at the Kremmling and Hot Sulphur Springs branches.<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col\" readability=\"6\">\n<div class=\"row shn-donation shn-donation-mobile p-0\" readability=\"7\">\n<div class=\"col-xl-4 p-2\">\n<div data-bg=\"url(https:\/\/cdn.skyhinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2020\/02\/shn-logo-2x-wht.png)\" class=\"p-0 mt-2 mb-2 h-75 text-center rocket-lazyload\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.skyhinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2020\/02\/shn-logo-2x-wht.png\" class=\"logo m-0 p-0 invisible\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><h3 class=\"d-inline mr-3\">Support Local Journalism<\/h3>\n<p><button class=\"btn d-inline\" type=\"button\" onclick=\"handleDonationButtonClickMidArticle()\">Donate<\/button><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201c(Reading logs) can also be found on the Kremmling Library Summer Reading Program Facebook page,\u201d Kremmling librarian Emily Pedersen said. \u201cThey are also available at the post offices in Hot Sulphur Springs and Kremmling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Pedersen continued with a reminder that the summer reading program is for all ages, including toddlers and adults.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Beginning June 9 through July 28, Pedersen and her staff will be hosting a virtual reading show-and-tell at 3 p.m. every Tuesday and 2 p.m. on Wednesdays.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cWe hope to have a couple of special guests at some point,\u201d Pedersen said. \u201cWe will share about what\u2019s going on with summer reading, and then have our participants show us something they have created, something fun around their house, or anything else they would like to share.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">GCLD currently has two virtual programs on its summer schedule: Local comic artist Mr. V will host \u201cCreate Your Own Hero\u201d via WebEx at 2 p.m. June 24, and Rocky Mountain National Park rangers are hosting \u201cEcosystem Explorers\u201d at 2 p.m. July 8. Information about the programs and links to join them via WebEx can be found at gcldco.evanced.info\/Signup.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">In addition to the planned programs, librarians will be hosting coloring and writing contests, scavenger hunts and other activities children can engage with from home throughout the summer. The branches will also have grab-and-go bags filled with crafts and activities available for pick up while supplies last.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The library currently only has two hiking programs on the schedule. The first is Cataract Lake Wildflower Hike on June 16, and the second is the Ammonite Site on June 23.
