Finally, my search is over; somebody has gotten it right!<\/p>\n<p>Family owned and operated by Frank, Carol and their four children, Frank, Jr., Nicole, Angela and Brittany, De Antonio\u2019s bills itself as \u201cNew York Pizza With Altitude.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Frank fell in love with Winter Park and the Fraser Valley after coming out to visit a friend to play golf. Looking to move away from the big Long Island sprawl and move to \u201csmall town America,\u201d he went back east and soon was \u201cwestward ho,\u201d moving his family in 2000.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cfirst\u201d De Antonio\u2019s Pizza and Pasta was a small restaurant in Fraser.<\/p>\n<p>Ten years later, when a larger restaurant space opened-up in Winter Park, Frank, Carol and the kids moved to their current location in the Park Place Center, 78737 US Highway 40.<\/p>\n<p>To say that Frank\u2019s pizzas are great just doesn\u2019t do them justice! It would take a lifetime to sample every possible variation. And at this full-menu Italian restaurant, pizza is just the tip of the iceberg!<\/p>\n<p>But speaking of pizza, hungry guests can either select from De Antonio\u2019s \u201cspecialty\u201d pies, or simply build and create their own.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpecialty\u201d pizzas include:<br \/>\n\u2022 Cheese (both Neapolitan and Sicilian style);<br \/>\n\u2022 Chicken Marsala;<br \/>\n\u2022 Spinach &amp; Ricotta;<br \/>\n\u2022 Broccoli White;<br \/>\n\u2022 Pesto;<br \/>\n\u2022 White;<br \/>\n\u2022 Supreme;<br \/>\n\u2022 \u201cStuffed\u201d Meat Lovers; and<br \/>\n\u2022 \u201cStuffed\u201d Veggie Lovers.<\/p>\n<p>If Frank\u2019s \u201cspecialties\u201d don\u2019t fit the bill, he\u2019s got a broad selection of both regular and premium ingredients diners can chose from to \u201ccreate their own!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cregular\u201d list includes: sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, ham, anchovies, extra cheese, green pepper, onion, mushrooms, black olives, jalapeno, broccoli and spinach.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cpremium\u201d ingredients include: tomato, chicken, feta, eggplant, artichoke, pepperoncini and shrimp.<\/p>\n<p>Do the math: with all these possible ingredients, the different combinations are limitless.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily, life in this Italian restaurant is more than pizza alone!<\/p>\n<p>Diners in search of other excellent fare can chose from a broad menu which includes appetizers, salads, soups, sandwiches, calzones, dinners and desserts \u2013 all certain to please.<\/p>\n<p>De Antonio\u2019s signature selections, which all come with homemade garlic knots and a choice of soup or salad include:<br \/>\n\u2022 Lasagna;<br \/>\n\u2022 Baked Ziti;<br \/>\n\u2022 Chicken Scampi;<br \/>\n\u2022 Linguine With Clam Sauce (red or white);<br \/>\n\u2022 Chicken Parmigianino &amp; Pasta;<br \/>\n\u2022 Ravioli;<br \/>\n\u2022 Fettuccine Alfredo;<br \/>\n\u2022 Shrimp Scampi;<br \/>\n\u2022 Pasta Primavera;<br \/>\n\u2022 Veal Parmigianino &amp; Pasta;<br \/>\n\u2022 Eggplant Parmigianino &amp; Pasta; and<br \/>\n\u2022 Spaghetti, Penne, Ziti or Linguine &amp; Tomato Sauce.<\/p>\n<p>To accompany their delicious food is an equally broad selection of things to drink.<\/p>\n<p>Soft drinks includes the full line of Coca Cola products, coffee, tea and more.<\/p>\n<p>For the beer drinkers, there are plenty of domestics, along with a wide selection of imports and micos.<\/p>\n<p>On the wine-side of the menu, they graciously pour a wide selection of whites and reds which compliment the excellent fare.<\/p>\n<p>For the \u201cbambinos,\u201d De Antonio\u2019s has an extensive kids\u2019 menu that features everything from smaller versions of their dinner entrees to Mac and Cheese and even peanut butter and jelly.<\/p>\n<p>And be sure to save room for dessert! The cheesecake \u2013 New York style, naturally \u2013 the tiramisu or a sundae all are terrific \u201cendings\u201d to an excellent Italian meal.<\/p>\n<p>De Antonio\u2019s Pizza and Pasta is a whole lot more than merely \u201cNew York Style Pizza With An Altitude.\u201d It is a full-menu, good-value Italian restaurant with delicious, generous portions and top-notch service.<\/p>\n<p>They are open daily, seven days a week, at 11 a.m., and are located at 78737 US Highway 40 in Winter Park; their phone number is 970-726-9999.
