This summer (and early fall), the bike park offers lift access to thousands of acres of cross-country trails, downhill mountain bike features, summer bike races, a free pump track course, a team of professional instructors, free concerts on the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/skigranby.com\/seven-trails-grille-at-granby-ranch\/\">Seven Trails Grille<\/a>\u00a0patio, as well as tons of other things to do in and around Granby Ranch (more on that in a future edition).<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a list of improvements and updates to the bike park in the past years:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Newly-designed, free Pump Track course just outside the Base Camp Lodge<\/li>\n<li>A new ultimate entry level trail to mountain biking<\/li>\n<li>New intermediate terrain complete with tabletop jumps and bermed turns.<\/li>\n<li>New skills-building area for practicing small jumps, turning and jumps<\/li>\n<li>Some great spectator events are listed below\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Oredigger MTB Challenge:\u00a0<\/strong>Aug. 31 through Sept. 1<\/p>\n<p><strong>Junior Team Downhill Race:\u00a0<\/strong>Aug. 8 and 29<\/p>\n<p><strong>Learn from the Pros at Bike Granby Ranch:\u00a0<\/strong>Get a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.granbyranch.com\/bike-granby-ranch\/colorado-mountian-biking-trails-terrain-parks-lessons-clinics.html\">lesson<\/a>\u00a0from a pro mountain biker and improve your skills for about $40 for two hours.<\/p>\n<p>The park\u2019s hours of operation, weather permitting, are: Thursdays, 4-7 p.m. (kids under 13 only $10); Fridays, noon to 7 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>To get there from Denver take I-70 to US 40 (Berthoud Pass, Empire\/Granby exit), go 15 miles past Winter park, turn right on Village Road (just before City Market), go two miles to Granby Ranch and you\u2019ll see SolVista Basin on the right and Headwaters Golf Course on the left (if you make it Base Camp Circle you\u2019ve gone a bit too far).\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/173.164.40.18\/\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bike Granby Ranch Mountain Stats:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Base Elevation: 8,202 ft.<\/li>\n<li>Top Elevation: 9,202 ft.<\/li>\n<li>Vertical Drop: 1,000 ft.<\/li>\n<li>Number of Trails: 22<\/li>\n<li>Lifts: 1 Quad with roll-on bike racks<\/li>\n<li>Beginner Trails: 50%<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate Trails: 25%<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Trails: 25%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><i><\/i><br \/>\n<!-- BEGIN KAPOST ANALYTICS CODE --><\/p>\n<p><!-- var _kaq = _kaq || [];
