This first week of 2019, Gene Autry\u2019s <em>Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Other Christmas Classics<\/em> moves up from No. 2 to No. 1 on <em>Billboard<\/em>\u2019s top country albums rankings.<\/p>\n<p>And while <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmt.com\/artists\/dan-shay\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dan + Shay<\/a>\u2019s \u201cSpeechless\u201d holds the airplay summit for the third week in a row, Dylan Scott has the highest-debuting single with \u201cSanta Claus Is Coming to Town.\u201d Alas, it enters at No. 60 and \u2014 given the speeding calendar \u2014 is unlikely to gain much traction.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s only one new album to report. Upchurch\u2019s <em>River Rat<\/em> scuttles in at No. 21. There are, however, seven returnees \u2014 Tim McGraw\u2019s <em>35 Biggest Hits<\/em> (back at No. 34), Dierks Bentley\u2019s <em>The Mountain<\/em> (No. 35) and <em>The Legend of Johnny Cash<\/em> (No. 41).<\/p>\n<p>Also, Jimmie Allen\u2019s <em>Mercury Lane<\/em> (No. 43), Alabama\u2019s <em>The American Farewell Tour<\/em> (No. 48), Florida Georgia Line\u2019s <em>Here\u2019s to the Good Times<\/em> (No. 49) and Luke Bryan\u2019s <em>Crash My Party<\/em> (No. 50). Bryan\u2019s version of \u201cOh Holy Night\u201d pops back in at No. 58.<\/p>\n<p>The No. 2 through No. 5 albums, in that order, are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cmt.com\/artists\/luke-combs\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Luke Combs<\/a>\u2019 <em>This One\u2019s for You<\/em> (last week\u2019s No. 1), Burl Ives\u2019 <em>Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer<\/em>, Elvis Presley\u2019s <em>It\u2019s Christmas Time<\/em> and <em>Dan + Shay<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Rounding out the Top 5 songs array are Thomas Rhett\u2019s \u201cSixteen,\u201d Jimmie Allen\u2019s \u201cBest Shot,\u201d Combs\u2019 \u201cShe Got the Best of Me\u201d and Dustin Lynch\u2019s \u201cGood Girl.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Grammy winners will be announced Feb. 10.<\/p>\n<div class=\"author\">\n<div class=\"description\">Edward Morris is a veteran of country music journalism.
