Vail Christian overcame a 10-point deficit at the half with a 28-point, third-quarter outburst, as well as a solid defensive effort in the second half to win its league opener.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Alec Moritz went off in a big way with 33 points, including eight 3-pointers, a new school record. It&#8217;s very likely that his older brother, Sebastian, could come back from Purdue to try to reclaim his old mark.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Four of those treys came in that explosive third quarter. Meanwhile, Zach McKeever was one assist away from a triple-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Vail Christian (3-4 overall and 1-0 in the Slope) got big offensive contributions from E.J.
