All the youth spaces are full.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Project Funway is the <a id=\"N0x1756040N0x16f38b0:N0x1756040N0x16d0028\" href=\"https:\/\/www.efec.org\">Education Foundation of Eagle County&#8217;s<\/a> annual fundraiser in support of Eagle County schools.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The unconventional fashion event challenges amateur designers to create unique garments out of anything but fabric.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Fashionistas compete in three design competition categories:<\/p>\n<div id=\"single-mid-script\" class=\"p402_hide\">\n<h2>Recommended Stories For You<\/h2>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText ListBullet\">Youth 12 and Under, Youth 13-18, and Adult 18+, with runway shows for each category.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">EFEC was launched more than a decade ago when Eagle County&#8217;s schools, like schools across the country, were financially strapped when the economy went in the tank. EFEC raises money and support for local schools.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">EFEC focuses on in-school enrichment programs, mental health support and retaining top teachers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Project Funway helps to fund Eagle County&#8217;s schools. In 2018, the Project Funway event raised $151,744, a 34 percent increase over 2017.
