With half a million listeners tuning in across the country, the show boasts thousands of podcast listeners and millions of video views through YouTube and Facebook. As such, we hope to fill our auditorium and put our best foot forward for the national broadcast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">As if that isn&#8217;t reason enough, Charles Yang, Julliard graduate and recipient of the 2018 Leonard Bernstein Award, will host this show and has been described as one who &#8220;plays classical violin with the charisma of a rock star.&#8221; We very much look forward to filling the auditorium with a local presence and generous applause.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">In case you aren&#8217;t familiar with NPR&#8217;s &#8220;From The Top,&#8221; this radio showcase for young musicians plays weekly on more than 200 NPR radio stations nationwide to an audience of nearly half a million listeners. The popular NPR radio program features the amazing performances and captivating personal stories of extraordinary young classical musicians from across the country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">&#8220;From the Top&#8221; is the most popular weekly one-hour music program on public radio. The 90-minute live show features entertaining interviews and performances with five featured soloists.
