The last time I caught up with Carly Pearce<\/a>, she wouldn\u2019t share very much about her upcoming wedding. And I get that. She wants her personal life to stay personal, and I\u2019m guessing her fianc\u00e9 Michael Ray<\/a> feels the same way.<\/p>\n

But you know what\u2019s even better that getting Pearce to talk about the wedding? Getting her to talk about the marriage and all the love she feels for Ray.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople always ask me, \u2018Is it really as real as it is online?\u2019 And it really is. He really is that wonderful,\u201d Pearce told me. \u201cIt was worth every single heartbreak and failed relationship that I\u2019d ever had.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s the real deal, and I\u2019m really lucky.\u201d<\/p>\n

So the relationship is her top priority, but still. There will be a wedding someday soon. And a dress, a ceremony, a reception, a meal, a gift registry and of course, music. And while Pearce wouldn\u2019t reveal any specifics, she did say they are both making the plans together. \u201cHe\u2019s way more into it than I thought he would be,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s such an exciting time for both of our families. And thankfully, we have so much in common, so we both agree on how we want our wedding to be. It\u2019s a special time,\u201d she said. \u201cWe are working on place, we are working on a date, and I\u2019m working on dress, and have asked a couple designers to show me what\u2019s possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ray proposed to Pearce while they were on vacation in Tulum, Mexico late last year.<\/p>\n
