GYPSUM \u2014 Jaime Fernandez has opened one of Gypsum\u2019s newest businesses, but that doesn\u2019t mean he is a rookie when it comes to dry cleaning and laundry services.<\/p>\n
His Ski County Cleaners opened just before Christmas, but Fernandez has been working in the industry for the past 15 years. His familiarity with what customers want shows in his convenient main location, his drop-off options upvalley and the products his business touts.<\/p>\n
The main location for Ski Country Cleaners is in The Hangar building located just east of Costco.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have Costing right here so I thought it would be a good location\u00a0for traffic,\u201d said Fernandez.<\/p>\n
But Ski Country Cleaners also\u00a0offers pick up services in\u00a0 Edwards and Avon and the crew can clean everything from clothing to upholstery.<\/p>\n
Ski Country Cleaners uses Green Earth Cleaning products, which are free from petrochemicals so they don\u2019t have that familiar dry cleaning odor. But the impact of the product goes deeper than the smell, Fernandez noted, because it involves\u00a0no hazardous chemicals.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe also have a price point that is below our competitors,\u201d said Fernandez. \u201cWe have a good quality product in a family owned and operated business.\u201d<\/p>\n
