{"id":1303051,"date":"2019-01-30T17:28:50","date_gmt":"2019-01-31T00:28:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vaildaily.com\/?p=445365"},"modified":"2019-01-30T17:28:50","modified_gmt":"2019-01-31T00:28:50","slug":"vail-valley-founded-larkburger-closes-some-stores-in-re-branding-effort","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kske\/local-news\/vail-valley-founded-larkburger-closes-some-stores-in-re-branding-effort\/","title":{"rendered":"Vail Valley-founded Larkburger closes some stores in re-branding effort"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EDWARDS \u2014 Larkburger is changing.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant, which opened its first location in Edwards in 2006, recently announced the closure of six stores: Two in the Kansas City area, as well as locations in downtown Denver, in Denver&#8217;s Washington Park and University Hills areas and in Broomfield.<\/p>\n<p>According to a statement on the company&#8217;s website, the stores that were closed were &#8220;underperforming and financially holding us back from fully pursuing our evolution from Larkburger to Lark Spot.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>That evolution is coming to the remaining Larkburger locations, including the original restaurant in Edwards.<\/p>\n<p>According to the company&#8217;s statement, the re-branded Lark Spot restaurants will be &#8220;a gathering place for friends and families\u2026&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The re-branding will include DIY classes, movie nights and other events.
