{"id":1303263,"date":"2019-02-04T16:46:08","date_gmt":"2019-02-04T23:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vaildaily.com\/?p=445909"},"modified":"2019-02-04T16:46:08","modified_gmt":"2019-02-04T23:46:08","slug":"jam-band-leftover-salmon-to-play-the-vilar-center-in-beaver-creek","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kske\/local-news\/jam-band-leftover-salmon-to-play-the-vilar-center-in-beaver-creek\/","title":{"rendered":"Jam band Leftover Salmon to play the Vilar Center in Beaver Creek"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Most people say that fish doesn\u2019t save well overnight, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leftoversalmon.com\/\">Leftover Salmon<\/a> might just prove that theory wrong.<\/p>\n<p>After 30-years of success, jam band Leftover Salmon will bring its newest tour, Stories from the Living Room, to the Vilar Performing Arts Center on Friday, Feb. 15, at 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a stripped down version of Leftover Salmon,\u201d said Greg Garrison, the band\u2019s bassist. \u201cWe\u2019re traveling with a full living room set with lampshades and paintings and all that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The idea for the living room set came from the band wanting to do something new, to \u201ctake it to the next level,\u201d according to Garrison. The idea came about when the band decided to promote a book written about them, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.barnesandnoble.com\/w\/leftover-salmon-tim-newby\/1129392602?ean=9781538113295&amp;st=PLA&amp;sid=BNB_New+Core+Shopping+Books&amp;sourceId=PLAGoNA&amp;dpid=tdtve346c&amp;2sid=Google_c&amp;gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7MCgi-ai4AIVk7XACh1nFANeEAQYASABEgKXa_D_BwE\">Leftover Salmon: Thirty Years of Festival<\/a>,\u201d which details the band\u2019s history. Between the songs, the members of Leftover Salmon will also discuss the band\u2019s history.<\/p>\n<p>Not to fret, however.
