{"id":1303482,"date":"2019-02-10T05:59:18","date_gmt":"2019-02-10T12:59:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vaildaily.com\/?p=446849"},"modified":"2019-02-10T05:59:18","modified_gmt":"2019-02-10T12:59:18","slug":"skier-files-suit-against-snowboarder-over-crash-on-snowmass","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kske\/local-news\/skier-files-suit-against-snowboarder-over-crash-on-snowmass\/","title":{"rendered":"Skier files suit against snowboarder over crash on Snowmass"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">A skier allegedly hit a week ago by a snowboarder at Snowmass filed a lawsuit Thursday in Pitkin County District Court seeking damages for the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Kim Petrie, a Colorado resident, was skiing down Lower Green Cabin, a blue run near the High Alpine chairlift, on Feb. 2, when Giorgio Mosoni of Minnesota crashed into her, according to the suit.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Mosoni was snowboarding at a high rate of speed and hit Petrie from behind, \u201ccausing her to fall, suffering injuries, damages and losses \u2026\u201d the suit states.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Petrie\u2019s injuries weren\u2019t specified in the lawsuit, though some \u201cwill require surgical intervention,\u201d it states.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The suit was filed by Russell Hatten, a Denver-based attorney.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vaildaily.com\/news\/regional\/skier-files-suit-against-snowboarder-over-crash-on-snowmass\/\" target=\"_blank\">via:: Vail Daily<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A skier allegedly hit a week ago by a snowboarder at Snowmass filed a lawsuit Thursday in Pitkin County District Court seeking damages for the incident.
