On Saturday night, the Education Foundation of Eagle County welcomed Project Funway, a fashion show in which participants had to make their own clothes\u2014without fabric.<\/p>\n

A panel of judges led by Mando Guerra, star of season eight of \u201cProject Runway,\u201d chose winners from clothes made of garbage, pinecones and so much more.<\/p>\n

The show featured a dress made from a garbage bag and colored toilet paper rolls.<\/figcaption><\/div>\n

Best in Show went to a dress made from tarps and pinecones.<\/figcaption><\/div>\n

Blinds made for a unique and bouncy dress at Project Funway.<\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

One young girl chose to make a dress from chocolate wrappers, topping it off with a heart-shaped candy box for a hat.<\/figcaption><\/div>\n

The dress that won the middle and high school age division was designed to reflect the wearer’s Mexican heritage.<\/figcaption><\/div>\n

In addition to solo performances, participants were allowed to design and walk in duos.<\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The reigning champ of the youth division took home the title again this year, sporting a dress decked out with beads and jewelry.<\/figcaption><\/div>\n

Participants were allowed small props, such as a “pot of gold.”<\/figcaption><\/div>\n

Outfits often had themes, such as designing a ’50s-style dress made with vinyl records.<\/figcaption><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
