ARE, Sweden (AP) \u2014 Wind and rain could affect the women\u2019s giant slalom at the world championships.<\/p>\n

Amid unseasonably warm weather in the Swedish resort of Are, it was raining on the course 90 minutes before the race was to begin.<\/p>\n

The first run is slated to start at 6:15 a.m. MST and the second run at 09:45 a.m. MST.<\/p>\n

Strong winds on the upper section were also an issue.<\/p>\n
