Just go ahead and call Morgan Wallen<\/a> a trendsetter.<\/p>\n

The singer-songwriter\u2019s style has evolved since his emergence onto the scene last year. We remember when Wallen boasts those shiny, shoulder-length locks and leather jackets. But as his artistry has moved forward, so has his look.<\/p>\n

And look out, y\u2019all: he\u2019s bringing the mullet back.<\/p>\n

CMT Hot 20 Countdown<\/em><\/a> correspondent Marley Sherwood sat down with Wallen and the topic of conversation turned to that one-of-a-kind look that Wallen is putting in the spotlight, at least for now.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor now, yeah. Cutoff flannel and a mullet,\u201d Wallen told her. \u201cThat\u2019s what I\u2019m rolling with. If you see me onstage, that\u2019s what it\u2019s gonna be!\u201d he said with a laugh.<\/p>\n

Fans are taking note, too.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m telling you, there are quite a few dudes at my shows that show up in mullets and cutoff flannels,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

And other artists, too, who offer a bit of friendly competition, like Wallen\u2019s buddy Luke Combs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe said it was ten years ago, but I didn\u2019t know he had a mullet ever, so that doesn\u2019t count,\u201d Wallen said jokingly.<\/p>\n

Boys, boys, calm down, the more mullets the merrier. And if you just can\u2019t bring yourself to make the chop, fear not: there\u2019s a Wallen-mullet merch shirt you can sport without the major commitment of an actual haircut.<\/p>\n
