Just the sight of Dierks Bentley<\/a>, Miranda Lambert<\/a> and Keith Urban<\/a> together live onstage at Nashville\u2019s Bridgestone Arena on Friday night (Feb. 22) sent the packed audience into earsplitting applause.<\/p>\n

And those who were there may never come down from that moment.<\/p>\n

Bentley was mid-way through his 2019 Burning Man show in his adoptive hometown when the three friends turned the arena into an intimate honky-tonk delivering a stripped-down, acoustic medley of Hank Williams (\u201cYour Cheatin\u2019 Heart,\u201d \u201cThe Bottle Let Me Down), Loretta Lynn (\u201cBlue Kentucky Girl\u201d) and Dixie Chicks (\u201cCowboy Take Me Away\u201d) hits.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like it when boys sing that song,\u201d Lambert said onstage. It was Lambert\u2019s first public performance since marrying Brendan McLoughlin. Bentley invited Lambert and her new husband to the show when he ran into them on a walk with his wife, Cassidy.<\/p>\n

The medley was preceded by Urban joining Bentley on \u201cThe Mountain.\u201d<\/p>\n

The hometown crowd brought out the best in Bentley, whose performance made everyone in the hall feel like family. His 23-song set was a diverse mix of songs from The Mountain<\/em> and his most enduring hits. Tenille Townes joined Bentley for the hit Elle King collaboration, \u201cDifferent for Girls.\u201d During \u201cAm I the Only One,\u201d a few security guards escorted Bentley as his high-fived his way through the audience on the floor level to a satellite stage to perform \u201cCome a Little Closer\u201d and \u201cSay You Do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bentley and his daughter Evie continued their live father-daughter tradition of performing a song together. Their pick for the night was \u201cTravelin\u2019 Light\u201d from The Mountain<\/em>.<\/p>\n

And if anyone decided to miss the openers Hot Country Knights, Tenille Townes or Jon Pardi, they made a mistake.<\/p>\n

Thomas Rhett joined Hot Country Knights onstage incognito to sing \u201cThat Ain\u2019t My Truck,\u201d a \u201890s hit by his father, Rhett Akins.<\/p>\n
