The albums are the soundtrack for <em>Elvis: The \u201968 Comeback Special: The Best Of<\/em> (No. 9), Ryan Bingham\u2019s <em>American Love Song<\/em> (No. 12) and Hayes Carll\u2019s <em>What It Is<\/em> (No. 26).<\/p>\n<p>Returning collections include <em>Elv1s: 30 #1 Hits<\/em> (No. 20), The <em>Essential Johnny Cash<\/em> (No. 45) and Eric Church\u2019s <em>Chief<\/em> (No. 48).<\/p>\n<p>The Elvis activity was likely sparked by the Feb. 17 <em>Elvis All-Star Tribute<\/em> on NBC that marked the 50th anniversary of the King\u2019s \u201ccomeback\u201d special.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan Hurd\u2019s \u201cTo A T\u201d (No. 57) and Mitchell Tenpenny\u2019s \u201cAlcohol You Later\u201d (No. 60) are the new songs.<\/p>\n<p>Coming in just behind <em>Can\u2019t Say I Ain\u2019t Country<\/em>, in this order, are Combs\u2019 <em>This One\u2019s for You<\/em>, Kacey Musgraves\u2019 <em>Golden Hour<\/em> (last week\u2019s No. 1), the eponymous <em>Dan + Shay<\/em> and Chris Stapleton\u2019s <em>Traveller<\/em> (now in its 199th week on the charts).<\/p>\n<p>The No. 2 through No. 5 songs are Luke Bryan\u2019s \u201cWhat Makes You Country,\u201d Scotty McCreery\u2019s \u201cThis Is It\u201d (last week\u2019s No. 1), Jason Aldean\u2019s \u201cGirl Like You\u201d and Jordan Davis\u2019 \u201cTake It From Me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t want to alarm you, but there\u2019s been an outbreak of \u201cIt\u201d songs lately, to wit: \u201cThis is It\u201d (McCreery), \u201cTake It From Me\u201d (Davis), \u201cMake It Sweet\u201d (Old Dominion), \u201cTalk You Out of It\u201d (Florida Georgia Line), \u201cSome of It\u201d (Church) \u201cThe Ones That Didn\u2019t Make It Home\u201d (Justin Moore) and \u201cHow Does It Sound\u201d (Dylan Schneider).<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll continue to keep a cautious eye on it.<\/p>\n<div class=\"author\">\n<div class=\"description\">Edward Morris is a veteran of country music journalism.
