UPDATE at 9:53 a.m.:<\/strong> As the Colorado Department of Transportation works to clear snow off the road along I-70, the department has also closed US 6 at Loveland Pass due to avalanche control work.<\/p>\n ***<\/strong><\/p>\n The Colorado Department of Transportation has closed I-70 in both directions between Herman Gulch and Silverthorne for avalanche reduction work.<\/p>\n CDOT crews conducted avalanche mitigation this morning, which resulted in snow coming across all travel lanes.
