Of course, still, there would be nerves for the singer, stepping completely outside of the genre for which she\u2019s known to take on a new challenge like this project. But this wasn\u2019t about genre: this was about Yearwood.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis advice to me was, \u2019Don\u2019t think you have to change your voice, or be a certain way, don\u2019t be nervous. You sing\u2026just go sing the song,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd that was great advice because I didn\u2019t have to change anything.
