Reba McEntire<\/a>\u2019s pal Vince Gill had a song back in 1994, the title track to one of his most beloved albums. Maybe you remember it: a sweet ballad called \u201cWhen Love Finds You.\u201d<\/p>\n

It could very well be the theme of McEntire\u2019s current relationship with her sweetheart Anthony \u201cSkeeter\u201d Lasuzzo.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was not looking,\u201d McEntire told People<\/em> of her mindset after her painful and public divorce from Narvel Blackstock. \u201cNot even interested.\u201d<\/p>\n

The superstar, who graces the current cover of the mag, sat down with the outlet for an exclusive chat<\/a>, where she opened up about her romance with Lasuzzo and gave the long-awaited backstory of how the two met.<\/p>\n

In August of 2017, McEntire was on vacation with a friend of Kix Brooks<\/a> in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. There she met, Lasuzzo, a retired oil geologist and wildlife photographer who knew how to show her around like a local.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just had the best time,\u201d McEntire told them. \u201cAnd so two nights later, we all went out to dinner, and he bought my dinner.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her next trip to Jackson Hole led to an official dinner date and more quality time together. \u201cI was there almost a week, and we spent every day together,\u201d she revealed.<\/p>\n

So, cut to the present day. Is it \u2014 love<\/em>?<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re totally in love, absolutely,\u201d she told People<\/em>. \u201cI wouldn\u2019t put up with somebody for two years if I wasn\u2019t in love with \u2019em!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe old heart\u2019s still beating,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Look for Lasuzzo with McEntire on the red carpet at the upcoming ACM Awards this weekend. He\u2019ll be there supporting his lady as she prepares to host the show for the 16th time and perform, too.<\/p>\n

McEntire told People<\/em> that the two were already coordinating their outfits, so they wouldn\u2019t \u201cclash too much.\u201d<\/p>\n

McEntire hosts the 54th annual Academy of Country Music Awards<\/em> air live April 7 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.<\/p>\n
