You know how it feels when an episode of This Is Us<\/em> has you on the edge of your seat, waiting for what will happen next for the Pearson triplets? That\u2019s how I feel right now, knowing that the TV show\u2019s Kate \u2014 Chrissy Metz \u2014 is going to be singing on Sunday night\u2019s ACM Awards.<\/p>\n

And she\u2019s doing it with Carrie Underwood<\/a>, Maddie & Tae<\/a> and Mickey Guyton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Together, they\u2019ll be singing \u201cI\u2019m Standing with You\u201d from the Breakthrough<\/em> soundtrack. The whole soundtrack for Metz\u2019 new movie, in fact, is stacked with country voices, as we reported earlier.<\/a><\/p>\n

Metz is very open about how much she loves country music, and she knows her way around these kinds of show. She was a presenter at the 2018 CMT Music Awards. But this performance is a first for her, and she admits she\u2019s a little nervous. \u201cIt\u2019s uncharted territory for me, but I\u2019m also fangirling \u2019cause I love these, every act that\u2019s gonna be performing, especially these ladies,\u201d Metz told Extra<\/em>. \u201cI can\u2019t even tell you, to sing with these ladies of country \u2014 who are also on the Breakthrough<\/em> soundtrack so it\u2019s a dream come true \u2014 it\u2019s really exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 54th Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday (April 7) at 8 p.m. ET\/PT on CBS.<\/p>\n
