Just before his 1952 dismissal from the Grand Ole Opry, Hank Williams<\/a> interviewed with Nation\u2019s Business<\/em><\/a> (the magazine for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce) for an article that examined country music\u2019s popularity around the world.<\/p>\n

The statements Williams gave the magazine became some of his most quoted remarks; they\u2019re even engraved on a wall at Nashville\u2019s Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou ask what makes our kind of music successful,\u201d Williams said, \u201cI\u2019ll tell you. It can be explained in just one word: sincerity.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Eric Church<\/a> sings (his originals, Williams\u2019 songs or anything else), he embodies every bit of sincerity in country music. That\u2019s why his fans collectively known as the Church Choir have loved his songs ever since the 2006 release of his debut, Sinners Like Me<\/em>.<\/p>\n
