{"id":1316898,"date":"2019-11-21T22:04:00","date_gmt":"2019-11-22T05:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.postindependent.com\/wolf-films-show-tonight-at-cmc\/"},"modified":"2019-11-21T22:04:00","modified_gmt":"2019-11-22T05:04:00","slug":"wolf-films-show-tonight-at-cmc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kske\/local-news\/wolf-films-show-tonight-at-cmc\/","title":{"rendered":"Wolf films show tonight at CMC"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.postindependent.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/03\/facebook-thumbnail-1200.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The Roaring Fork Group of the Colorado Sierra Club brings the \u201cHowl Yes!\u201d Film Series to the Roaring Fork Valley at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at the CMC Spring Valley Campus.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">This family-friendly, wolf-focused evening features the 2019 film \u201cEpic Yellowstone: Return Of The Predators\u201d, along with two short films from the Rocky Mountain Wolf Project, that explore the myths, reality and benefits of gray wolves.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">\u201cEpic Yellowstone,\u201d from the Smithsonian Channel, gives an up-close look at a year in the lives of the wolves and grizzly bears of Yellowstone National Park\u2019s ecosystem, after returning in record numbers through one of the most ambitious restoration projects in history.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The program also includes a short talk by Delia Malone, noted ecologist and wildlife chair of the Colorado Sierra Club, to help answer the question \u201cWhat if wolves were restored to Colorado?\u201d She will also be on-hand to answer questions from the audience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The evening\u2019s films and talk are free of charge (a $5 donation is suggested to cover costs), and there will be free refreshments and an opportunity to meet local Sierra Club members in the campus lobby starting at 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.postindependent.com\/entertainment\/wolf-films-show-tonight-at-cmc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">via:: Post Independent<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Roaring Fork Group of the Colorado Sierra Club brings the \u201cHowl Yes!\u201d Film Series to the Roaring Fork Valley at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at the CMC Spring Valley Campus.
