The scene was expected to take most of the day to clear.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" readability=\"8.0344827586207\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE: I-70 eastbound through the crash scene is OPEN. Westbound remains CLOSED for investigation and HAZMAT.<\/p>\n<p>Use CAUTION going EB, LOTS of lookey loo\u2019s and traffic is backing up!<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CSP_HAZMAT?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@CSP_HAZMAT<\/a> is on scene<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 CSP Eagle (@CSP_Eagle) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CSP_Eagle\/status\/1199350206753492993?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 26, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>U.S. Route 6 is the detour route for westbound traffic until further notice.<\/p>\n<p>Westbound I-70 at Beaver Brook near Idaho Springs is also expected to be closed most of the day due to a major rockslide, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation\u2019s cotrip.org.
