A mobile home fire in the Three Mile area was extinguished in less than 30 minutes by area firefighters Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n

The Glenwood Springs Fire Department was dispatched around 9:30 a.m. and found heavy smoke coming from the mobile home at the scene, according to a news release. No one was inside the structure at the time of the fire.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirefighters initiated an offensive attack on the working fire,\u201d the news release states. \u201cThe fire was reported extinguished within 20 minutes. Overhaul operations are currently in progress.\u201d<\/p>\n

Colorado River Fire Rescue<\/a> and Carbondale & Rural Fire Protection District<\/a> assisted in battling the blaze.<\/p>\n

The cause of the fire is unknown and will be investigated by the Garfield County Fire Investigation Team and the Glenwood Springs Fire Department.<\/p>\n
