Happy to have you back in the chart penthouse. <\/p>\n<p>All this is a roundabout way of saying that Brown\u2019s \u201cHomesick\u201d has arrived at No. 1 on <em>Billboard<\/em>\u2019s country airplay chart after a 31-week slog. By now, he\u2019s probably planted shrubs and installed tennis courts. Just as they have for the past innumerable weeks, his <em>What You See Is What You Get<\/em> and <em>This One\u2019s for You<\/em> continue to lodge, respectively, at No. 1 and No. 2.<\/p>\n<p>There are no new or returning albums in the Top 25 this week, but we see two new singles and one comeback.<\/p>\n<div class=\"deferred_content\"> Embedded from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sbVPcPL30xc?feature=oembed\">www.youtube.com<\/a>. <noscript class=\"deferred_content\" data-deferred-info=\"{&quot;type&quot;:&quot;iframe&quot;}\"> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sbVPcPL30xc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen>\t<\/iframe><\/noscript>\n<\/div>\n<p>In what must surely be a satisfying \u201cup yours\u201d gesture, Dixie Chicks stride back into the country arena with \u201cGaslighter.\u201d It debuts at a respectable No. 36 on the airplay charts, and it\u2019s the Chicks\u2019 first charting country single since \u201cEverybody Knows\u201d tanked at No. 45 in 2006. The trio was basically exiled from country music in 2003 for its anti-war remarks and, specifically, its criticism of then-President George W. Bush. There\u2019s nothing in \u201cGaslighter\u201d to suggest the Chicks have become more even-tempered.<\/p>\n<p>Also making its first appearance this week is Russell Dickerson\u2019s \u201cLove You Like I Used To,\u201d which bows at No. 60.
