The curious COVID-19 school year ended Friday amid virtual classes and public health protocols. Public schools classes next year are likely to be a blend of online and in-person. Private schools planning for in-person classes.<\/strong>

The curious COVID-19 school year ended Friday with students, staff, and parents of Eagle County Schools already asking what next year\u2019s classes will look like.<\/p>\n

Public school classes are scheduled to begin August 18. How much will be remote and how much will be in person remains to be determined.<\/p>\n

\u201cUndoubtedly, school will look different. There are a whole new set of protocols and priorities for schools to put into place in order to minimize the spread of COVID-19,\u201d said Jeremy\u200b Meyer, the director of communications for the Colorado Department of Education, in a statement.<\/p>\n

May not know until July<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Eagle County School District officials say they\u2019re planning the best they can with the data they have, and will continue through the end of next month. But they might not be able to announce concrete plans until July, Superintendent Phil Qualman said.<\/p>\n
