Before launching as a band, all four members had established a foothold in the music industry. Colbie Caillat landed a Top 10 pop hit in 2007 with \u201cBubbly,\u201d which she wrote with Jason Reeves; meanwhile, Justin Kawika Young has secured 10 No. 1 records in Hawaii and Nelly Joy (who is married to Jason Reeves) made a mark at country radio in 2010 with <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/NC0IhlquYlI\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Jane Dear Girls<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Together, their vocal blend and songwriting skills are impressive \u2014 an ever-shifting landscape of warm tones and tumultuous relationships. It was a beautiful hot sunny day in the summer. We had a pretty small crew and everything ran smoothly which is not always the case. We shot this video in an old Victorian house, and out in the front yard\/dirt road driveway under this massive tree. Jason and Nelly shot their scenes first. Then Justin and I shot our scenes after. Then the four of us shot our scene together during sunset under the tree outside. It was a great day! \u2014 Colbie Caillat<br \/>\ufeff<br \/><strong>How does the video bring your song to life?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This video truly paints the picture of \u201cwhat could\u2019ve been\u201d by using the mirrors to reflect all of the beautiful moments and memories they shared and could have kept having, had they stayed together. It\u2019s powerful to see the lost love staring back at us in the reflection! \u2014 Justin Kawika Young<\/p>\n<p><strong>What message do you hope your fans take away from the video?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We hope that this video inspires fans to truly look into the mirror and self-reflect before they give up on a relationship. Also, maybe it will inspire people to reunite and give love a second chance if that\u2019s what their hearts are telling them to do. \u2014 Jason Reeves<\/p>\n<p><strong>How did it feel to see the finished product for the first time?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Seeing our music come to life visually through Patrick Tracy\u2019s artistic vision really brought another level of excitement to the release of this song. We always knew the song was special, but paired with the video, it\u2019s even more impactful.
