\n<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span>From breakfast to apr\u00e8s-race fun, the International Experience (InterX) Pavilion is your headquarters for the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships! Located in the center of Beaver Creek Village, this heated tent is open daily until 5pm. The InterX Pavilion has everything you need \u2013 breakfast, race coverage, free food & alcohol sampling, full bar service, music, prizes and more! The tent is free, open to the public and perfect for all ages.<\/p>\n

2:00 pm<\/span>– 5:30 pm <\/span><\/em><\/span>Apr\u00e8s Avon <\/span>A Daily Festival of Music, Food & Spontaneity<\/span>. <\/em>Avon Main Street Mall<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Apr\u00e8s Avon, a free 12-day concert and street fair will be held from 2pm to 5:30pm every day after the races, February 3 through 14, 2015 at Avon\u2019s Main Street Mall. The festivities feature live music, craft brews, cocktails, food and performance art, along with visits by the 2015 official mascots and cheerleaders, ski racing athlete signings, including a visit by Olympic Gold Medalist Mikaela Shiffrin, distribution of the coveted AWSC pins and other American-rooted activities.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The Nations Team Event is the only team race in the World Championships program for alpine skiing. Teams of 4 athletes (2 men, 2 ladies) compete on a parallel GS course in head-to-head match-ups. Each skier gets a chance to race on both lanes of the parallel course after which the team with more head-to-head wins advances to the next round. The event has a maximum of 16 teams and is an exciting fast-paced competition to watch. Gates open at 12:00pm<\/p>\n
