Much like Fallon&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/tv\/videos\/justin-timberlake-and-jimmy-fallon-roll-out-history-of-rap-vol-5-20140222\">ongoing History of Rap series with Justin Timberlake<\/a>, the late-night host and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/videos\/hear-kelly-clarkson-new-heartbeat-song-20150112\">&#8220;Heartbeat Song&#8221;<\/a>\u00a0singer take a similar journey through five decades of chart-topping duets, kicking things off with Sonny\u00a0and\u00a0Cher&#8217;s &#8220;I Got You Babe&#8221; before bringing it on home with Lionel Richie and Diana Ross&#8217; &#8220;Endless Love.&#8221;<\/p>\n<aside class=\"related-article\">\n<h4>Along the way, Fallon and Clarkson also sing snippets of famous duets like the Human League&#8217;s &#8220;Don&#8217;t You Want Me,&#8221; Charles &amp; Inez Foxx&#8217;s &#8220;Mockingbird,&#8221; Elton John and Kiki Dee&#8217;s &#8220;Don&#8217;t Go Breakin&#8217; My Heart,&#8221; Aaron Neville and Linda Ronstadt&#8217;s &#8220;Don&#8217;t Know Much&#8221; (with Fallon dressing up as Neville, right down to the prominent birthmark), Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty&#8217;s &#8220;Stop Draggin&#8217; My Heart Around,&#8221; Jennifer Warnes and Joe Cocker&#8217;s &#8220;Up Where We Belong&#8221; and, most important, Paula Abdul and MC Skat Kat&#8217;s &#8220;Opposites Attract.&#8221;<\/h4>\n<\/aside>\n<p>The comment Fallon is referring to at the beginning of the bit is based on something Clarkson recently told BBC Radio 1 regarding the lack of guests on her new album <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/albumreviews\/kelly-clarkson-piece-by-piece-20150303\">Piece by Piece<\/a><\/em>. &#8220;I honestly would collaborate with a lot of people, but everyone usually says no,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I&#8217;m not kidding you.
