{"id":583164,"date":"2015-04-25T11:33:32","date_gmt":"2015-04-25T17:33:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kske\/?p=583164"},"modified":"2015-04-25T11:36:25","modified_gmt":"2015-04-25T17:36:25","slug":"colorado-climbers-on-everest-when-deadly-earthquake-hit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/kske\/articles\/colorado-climbers-on-everest-when-deadly-earthquake-hit\/","title":{"rendered":"Colorado climbers on Everest when deadly earthquake hit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KATHMANDU, Nepal &#8211; A group of Colorado climbers on Mount Everest are reportedly safe following a deadly earthquake in Nepal.<\/p>\n<p>The magnitude-7.8 quake, which shook a wide swath of northern India and Tibet, also triggered avalanches in the Himalayas, killing at least 10 people on Mount Everest.<\/p>\n<p>Three revered Colorado mountaineers Jon Kedrowski, Alan Arnette and Jim Davidson were climbing Everest when the earthquake hit.<\/p>\n<p>Jim Davidson said there was an avalanche near to their location and there are injured people at base camp.
