We opened the door even if we didn\u2019t know who rang the bell. And we could always leave the back door unlocked\u00a0during the day.<\/p>\n<p>National Association of Town Watch is the nation\u2019s premiere non-profit crime prevention organization dedicated to the development and promotion of crime prevention in communities across the nation.<\/p>\n<p>NATW\u00a0is a network of law enforcement agencies, neighborhood watch groups, civic groups, state and regional crime prevention associations and concerned citizens. Through that network, NATW was able to launch the annual National Night Out campaign.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5TsXRSWft3Q<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"one-half\">\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Together, we are making\u00a0that happen.<\/p>\n<p>National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community and provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>Neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and other various community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel and exhibits.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff\">AVON<\/span><\/h1>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\">National Night Out parties will be held TONIGHT at:\u00a0The Aspens Community Park from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. O\u2019Neil Spur Park in Wildridge from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.\u00a0Eaglebend Apartments from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.\u00a0Avon Elementary Soccer Field from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.<\/h4>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">BASALT<\/span><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<h4 id=\"ctl00_ctl00_MainContent_ModuleContent_ctl00_ctl03_eventTitle\" style=\"text-align: center\">National Night Out with Basalt Police and Basalt Fire &#8211; 6 p.m. to 8p.m. Lions Park, Downtown Basalt. 970 927-4316<\/h4>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">VAIL<\/span><\/h1>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\">Call Commander Daric Harvey at 970-477-3433.
