{"id":791470,"date":"2018-12-20T13:09:24","date_gmt":"2018-12-20T20:09:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/?p=771278"},"modified":"2018-12-20T13:09:24","modified_gmt":"2018-12-20T20:09:24","slug":"see-miley-cyrus-mark-ronson-and-sean-lennon-sing-happy-xmas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/ksmt\/music-news\/see-miley-cyrus-mark-ronson-and-sean-lennon-sing-happy-xmas\/","title":{"rendered":"See Miley Cyrus, Mark Ronson and Sean Lennon Sing \u2018Happy Xmas\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/miley-x-ronson_cropped.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"\/><\/div>\n<p>With Christmas around the corner, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/miley-cyrus\/\" id=\"auto-tag_miley-cyrus\" data-tag=\"miley-cyrus\">Miley Cyrus<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/mark-ronson\/\" id=\"auto-tag_mark-ronson\" data-tag=\"mark-ronson\">Mark Ronson<\/a> and their guest, Sean Ono Lennon, have made a video for their cover of John Lennon and Yoko Ono\u2019s 1972 single, \u201cHappy Xmas (War Is Over).\u201d Cyrus wears a green-and-white shirt with an approximation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beatlesbible.com\/1969\/12\/15\/john-lennon-yoko-ono-war-is-over-poster-campaign-launched\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">billboard campaign John Lennon and Ono<\/a> paid for when they released the single at the height of the Vietnam War: \u201cWar Is Over! (If You Want It).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She looks off as she sings the lyrics, including some revisions, such as singing \u201cfor left and for right\u201d instead of \u201cfor yellow and red ones,\u201d and Sean provides the backup vocals and Ronson shreds on his guitar.
