In addition to the usual group of backup dancers, Swift\u2019s stage also features a 63-foot fake cobra named Karyn.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <span class=\"s1\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Taylor Swift released <em>Reputation<\/em> in November 2017. The album sold over a million copies opening week, and it has continued to entice fans: It was the top-selling album of 2018, according <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/articles\/events\/year-in-music-2018\/8488621\/drake-top-artist-taylor-swift-reputation-top-album-2018\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">to <em>Billboard<\/em><\/a>, even beating out Drake\u2019s massive\u00a0<em>Scorpion<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Swift set out on the <em>Reputation<\/em> tour in May of this year. She played 53 shows over seven months, sold 2,888,892 tickets and grossed $345.1 million worldwide, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/ed-sheeran-taylor-swift-top-tours-770099\/\"><em>Pollstar<\/em><\/a>, which tracks concert data. Only Ed Sheeran grossed more on tour globally in 2018. In terms of U.S. ticket sales, Swift beat out the competition by over $100 million in ticket sales.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Swift first announced the\u00a0<em>Reputation\u00a0<\/em>concert film earlier this month by sharing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/taylor-swift-reputation-netflix-concert-film-768642\/\">a dramatic trailer<\/a>. \u201cWhen she fell, she fell apart,\u201d the singer says in voiceover. \u201cWhen she finally rose, she rose slowly. She heard echoes of new words.
