{"id":791729,"date":"2019-01-03T20:32:00","date_gmt":"2019-01-04T03:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.summitdaily.com\/news\/breckenridge-distillery-to-host-national-barkeep-contest-jan-11\/"},"modified":"2019-01-03T20:32:00","modified_gmt":"2019-01-04T03:32:00","slug":"breckenridge-distillery-to-host-national-barkeep-contest-jan-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alwaysmountaintime.com\/ksmt\/local-news\/breckenridge-distillery-to-host-national-barkeep-contest-jan-11\/","title":{"rendered":"Breckenridge Distillery to host national barkeep contest Jan. 11"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\"><a id=\"N0x1c99820N0x1c82410:N0x1c99820N0x1c59d98\" href=\"https:\/\/breckenridgedistillery.com\/\">The Breckenridge Distillery<\/a> will welcome nine of the best bartenders in the nation to the High Country on Jan. 11 for a grand finale called Punch Kings Last Call after they won regional barkeep competitions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">The regional Punch King champions are set to take the stage at 4 p.m., when they will prepare their winning bourbon punch for eight judges while spotlighting the distillery&#8217;s award-winning bourbon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">Meanwhile, the distillery will greet guests with a welcome punch from liquid chef Billie Keithley while competitors are preparing theirs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"STND-STND BodyText\">During the competition, guests will be offered punches crafted by the nine regional bartenders and small bites from the Breckenridge Distillery Restaurant.
