Nevertheless, the Compton rapper\u2019s \u201cSilent Ride\u201d video looks very similar to Coldplay\u2019s classic video of Chris Martin walking backward through the streets like a psycho person and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wqVsfGQ_1SU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">the Pharcyde\u2019s \u201cDrop.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0\u201cSilent Ride\u201d is a narrative told in reverse where <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/boogie\/\" id=\"auto-tag_boogie\" data-tag=\"boogie\">Boogie<\/a> travels from a baptism by his peers, into a house for a striptease and finally into a car where it appears he\u2019s about to perform some violent act.<\/p>\n<p>As Boogie tends to do, \u201cSilent Ride\u201d is a dry critique of youth culture. The bars are relatable (\u201cI don\u2019t store they numbers, just instead\/I start scrolling through the texts and look for pictures in the thread\u201d) and darkly truthful (\u201cyou\u2019re only banging \u2019cause of streaming, ain\u2019t ya?\/You\u2019re only gang when it\u2019s convenient, ain\u2019t ya?\u201d).
