The R&B<\/a> singer Jacquees<\/a> will open 2019 with a 22-date tour in support of his<\/span> 4275<\/span><\/em> album and his<\/span> Lost at Sea 2<\/span><\/em> release with Birdman. The crooner opens his trek January 11 in Salt Lake City, jumps over to California for seven different performances, and wraps up on the East Coast at the beginning of March. Jacquees will be supported by TK Kravitz \u2014 his duet partner on \u201cOcean\u201d \u2014 and Bluff City, a vocal ensemble that hopes to revive the glory days of Nineties R&B groups.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jacquees is currently enjoying his fourth radio hit, \u201cYou,\u201d which reached more than 13 million listeners through the airwaves last week. The single also appeared on the bonus edition of<\/span> 4275<\/span><\/em>, the singer\u2019s official debut album, which was released in June. Jacquees followed that with<\/span> Lost at Sea 2<\/span><\/em> in November. He plans to release a new album in 2019, which makes sense as a way to capitalize on the attention \u2014 both good and bad<\/a> \u2014 he received recently after calling himself the \u201cKing of R&B\u201d in his generation.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI really just saved R&B,\u201d the singer told\u00a0Rolling Stone<\/a>.<\/em>\u00a0\u201cSo everybody who do R&B should be in the studio right now. \u2018Cause they paying attention to R&B right now, and they doing it for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
