Palaye Royale<\/strong>\u00a0drummer Emerson Barrett shared at the end of last year that he’s been working on a comic book series, featuring all three members of Palaye Royale.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Emerson had previously shared<\/a> that the comic book is Victorian, and is set on the fictional island of Obsidian featuring himself and his two brothers as the main characters.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Yes, it\u2019s a Victorian comic book that takes place on the island of Obsidian with the three of us as the main characters. I\u2019m excited to share with the world the intensely in depth story we have created.<\/p>\n

Now Emerson has shared a first sneak peek at what the comic book will look like.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The fine artist of the band, Emerson has been working on a series of art projects over the past few years, but the upcoming comic book is particularly exciting.<\/p>\n

Sharing an illustration on Instagram, Emerson shared “A story about revolution, art, poetry and self realization. Volume One is on its way soon. Still in progress. For the last few months\u00a0Billie EK and I have worked obsessively on this project. We truly have created a new world, one where villains and revolutionist exist on an island called Obsidian.”<\/em><\/p>\n
