Adding to that victory is that the K-pop boy band\u2019s film \u2014 a behind-the-scenes look at its 19-city Wings Tour in 2017 \u2014 will be on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/youtube\/\" id=\"auto-tag_youtube\" data-tag=\"youtube\">YouTube<\/a>, the biggest video-streaming platform in the world.<\/p>\n<p>YouTube Originals announced on Tuesday that BTS\u2019s full-length documentary will air on Friday at 9am ET, after the band\u2019s short video series\u00a0<em>BTS: Burn the Stage<\/em> performed well on the platform last year. The film will offer studio interviews and extended narration, including an interview with Bang Si-hyuk, the founder of BTS\u2019 South Korean parent company Big Hit Entertainment.<\/p>\n<p><em>Burn the Stage: The Movie<\/em>\u00a0netted 1.4 million admissions in its first weekend, according to its\u00a0distributor Trafalgar Releasing \u2014 a number that beats out the 1.2 million admissions for One Direction\u2019s 2014 film\u00a0<em>One Direction: Where We Are<\/em>, and also put the K-pop group at Number 10 in that weekend\u2019s U.S. box office. But the band doesn\u2019t seem to be losing steam. The last year saw it selling out American stadiums, blowing up song and album charts and even finding its way into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-features\/bts-kpop-albums-bands-global-takeover-707139\/\">American pop radio play<\/a>.
