Saturday Night Live<\/a><\/em> spoofed Soulja Boy<\/a>\u2019s headline-making past few months as the rapper, as played by SNL<\/em>\u2018s Chris Redd, appeared on Weekend Update.<\/p>\n

The Soulja Boy sketch follows a pair of bizarre stories involving the rapper: First, his not-quite-legal attempts to become video game magnate<\/a> and, secondly, an instant classic interview Soulja Boy conducted with The Breakfast Club<\/em> earlier this month where he claimed he taught Drake how to rap<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mimicking Soulja Boy\u2019s own proclamations from the Breakfast Club<\/em> interview, Redd\u2019s Soulja Boy discusses everything from Donald Trump to his now-failed video game venture<\/a> to Barack Obama to the government shutdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cTruuuuump!? Truuuuump!? The dude that got bodied by the popular vote. The dude who got beat by Nancy [Pelosi],\u201d Redd\u2019s rapper marveled after learning that Trump is president. \u201cWithout bitch Soulja, there wouldn\u2019t even be no Trump! I\u2019m the first one to hustle to the top!\u201d<\/p>\n

The rapper also promised to run for president in 2020. \u201cSoulja Boy Crank That 2020,\u201d he declared. However, he walked off the Weekend Update set \u2013 as he did on the Breakfast Club<\/em> \u2013 upon learning he would not be the first black president.<\/p>\n

Soulja Boy hasn\u2019t commented on social media about the sketch, but he tweeted<\/a> a link to the YouTube clip.<\/p>\n
