The show\u2019s cameras swirled around the stage, capturing the songwriter in dramatic low angles and close-ups.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The intimate staging suited the song\u2019s starkly personal lyrics. \u201cI stood out in the night in an empty field and I called your name,\u201d Houck sang. \u201cI don\u2019t stand out all night in empty fields and call your name no more.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cC\u2019est La Vie\u201d is the title-track of Phosphorescent\u2019s 2018 LP \u2014 his first release in five years, following 2013\u2019s <em>Muchacho<\/em>.
