Singing in both French and English, Dacus\u2019 vocals guide the song as a deft arrangement of pulsing drums and guitars ebbs and flows beneath her.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cFrom the first time I heard it, I thought \u2018La Vie En Rose\u2019 was a perfect song,\u201d Dacus said. \u201cHearing it, I knew that, one day, I would fall in love. I want someone to listen to this while running at top speed to the doorstep of the person they adore, ready to profess their deep, undying love. (P.S., there\u2019s a longer story about singing this song as a duet with my middle school janitor, but it is not concise.)\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Dacus\u2019 next holiday cover will arrive in May for Mother\u2019s Day. She also plans to release songs to mark Independence Day, Halloween, Christmas and New Year\u2019s, as well as a special track around September 23rd to celebrate Bruce Springsteen\u2019s birthday. All of Dacus\u2019 holiday cover songs will appear on an EP titled <em>2019<\/em>, which\u00a0will also contain a few original tracks. The EP is expected to drop later this year, though an exact release date has yet to be announced.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Dacus\u2019 holiday series and <em>2019<\/em> EP will follow her 2018 album, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-album-reviews\/review-lucy-dacus-turns-interior-drama-into-indie-rock-gold-on-historian-201599\/\"><em>Historian<\/em><\/a>.
