Nicki Minaj<\/a> takes the throne in her new video for \u201cHard White.\u201d The song appears on 2018\u2019s Queen<\/em> and it\u2019s the first visual from the LP that she\u2019s released since she dropped \u201cBarbie Dreams\u201d in September.<\/p>\n

In the new clip, Minaj affirms her reign, taking a seat at the throne and donning an array of bejeweled crowns, while ruling a world where ghoulish figures creep around and imagery of dark rituals, trippy desert jaunts and ravens signal foreboding times. Despite the desolate surroundings, Minaj is resolute in her top-tier position that she earned as she \u201cused to work hard, just to get half back.\u201d \u201cMy legacy could never be undone,\u201d she assertively raps. \u201cI\u2019m a prodigy\/R.I.P. thun thun\/Got these bitches shook, they shocked, no stun gun.\u201d<\/p>\n

While \u201cHard White\u201d is the first Queen<\/em>-related video the rapper has released in 2019, it follows last year\u2019s previously videos for Queen<\/em>\u2018s \u201cBarbie Dreams<\/a>,\u201d \u201cGanja Burns<\/a>\u201d and \u201cBed<\/a>\u201d and the pre-Queen<\/em>\u00a0singles\u00a0\u201cChun Li\u201d and \u201cBarbie Tingz.\u201d<\/a> In November, she teamed with Lil Wayne for the racy \u201cGood Form<\/a>\u201d video and with Zayn for the song \u201cNo Candle No Light<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

In February, Minaj heads overseas to launch her European tour<\/a> in support of Queen<\/em>. It kicks off in Munich, Germany at Olympiahalle on February 21st and culminates at Hallenstadion in Geneva, Switzerland on March 28th. While her full U.S. tour dates have not been announced, her website indicates that her stateside trek will begin in May.<\/p>\n
