The song is fitting for the frigid weather the country is seeing this week.<\/p>\n<p>In this exclusive clip, Guy plays his version of Sonny Boy Williamson\u2019s 1962 track \u201cNine Below Zero,\u201d which Guy covers on his new album <em>The Blues is Alive and Well<\/em>. Guy sings, \u201cAin\u2019t this a pity? \/ People you know it\u2019s a damn crying shame \/ Well you know it\u2019s nine below zero \/ And this woman kick me down for another man.\u201d Williamson is a huge inspiration of Guy\u2019s, having played on the bluesman\u2019s hits at Chess Records.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Blues is Alive and Well<\/em>, which features guest appearances by Mick Jagger and Jeff Beck, is nominated for a Grammy at next week\u2019s ceremony. After that, Guy returns to the road on his never-ending tour, hitting New York\u2019s Beacon Theater on March 7th.<\/p>\n<p><em>Rolling Stone<\/em> caught up with Guy for an in-depth feature on his life in late 2015. The veteran bluesman said that his job took on more meaning after the death of his hero B.B. King. \u201cWhen B.B. passed away, I kind of woke up and said, \u2018I\u2019m the last one here,\u2019\u201d says Guy. \u201cIt\u2019s a little scary.\u201d Added Keith Richards, \u201cHe\u2019s the top honcho now, you know? He\u2019s the godfather now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alongside \u201cNine Below Zero,\u201d the singer also performed the web exclusive \u201cCognac,\u201d available below.\u00a0The new episode premieres tonight, Saturday, at 9 p.m. ET.
