The Lemonheads<\/a> announced they will tour North America this spring in support of their upcoming covers album,\u00a0<\/em>Varshons 2,<\/em><\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>which comes out February 8th.\u00a0<\/strong>The Replacements\u2019\u00a0Tommy Stinson<\/a> will join Evan Dando and company, providing guest support for all 33 dates. The tour\u00a0<\/span>begins\u00a0May 2nd in Fairfield, Connecticut and ends\u00a0June 15th in Boston. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 8th at 1 p.m. Eastern Time.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Lemonheads\u00a0teased the news, releasing one of the new album\u2019s tracks: a marginally updated version of the psych-pop band\u00a0GiveGoods\u2019 song \u201cUnfamiliar,\u201d which Dando originally co-wrote with Tom Morgan in 2003.<\/p>\n

Varshons 2<\/em>\u00a0will be available February 8th in all formats, including as a limited-edition record that features a banana-scented scratch-and-sniff sleeve and colored vinyl.<\/span><\/p>\n
